Opinion: In this new book in the saga of The Hunger Games, we see the consequences of the decision to Katniss in the end of the previous volume. A decision that was understood by the Capitol as a challenge and an encouragement to rebellion, by the twelve districts.
Along the history, Katniss struggles to prove her innocence to the Capitol and to keep her family and Peeta alive. However, even her most innocent action is seen by those who observe, with second intentions, either by the rebels, or by the part of Capitol.
In this new volume, we know better the characters presented in the first volume and their motivations, as well as new characters, equally captivating and enigmatic.
Although initiallythe rhythm is a little slow compared to the first volume of the saga, the plot gradually becomes addictive and fasterleading to a compulsive reading, which reveals a surprising end, causing an irresistible urge to read soon third volume.
A very interesting book, with a written fluid and direct, that nothing is due to the first volume of the saga. A book not to be missed.
